There are tons of gifts in jar that you can make that doesn't require her or him to cook (even if that is their thing). Look at the things they are into. No one said that valentine's day had to be expensive, just thoughtful. Show me what you have done or feel free to share with others these wonderful ideas!

So lately I've made coffee creamer and buttermilk pancake & waffle mix for my home and still looking at make in more. The biggest question I have been asked and thought of is it worth it? I know that I shop at salvage grocery stores to cut cost (biggest being meat and some dairy) but having everything and or needing to buy it compared to the pre-made stuff that I can just buy and make....is it worth it?

According to greatlist.com they broke down the cost of store bought items such as oatmeal packets ( 6 packets in a box) to home and here is a break down...

I am finding this one common thing between all the homemade vs store bought is that what I make at home I get more, way more than store bought. That's not to say all things homemade are cheaper than store bought if you know where to shop.
